One day – I decided to face my fear of heights by jumping off a cliff in Bir, the foothills of the Himalayas. As I soared through the mountains, my fear melted into ecstasy. I felt music come to me.
Magically, my collaborator from my vanlife chapter in Australia – guitarist & songwriter Asher Reuven appeared. Together, we set up an outdoor studio in Vigilatte Cafe, Bir – and created this song in three days. Asher’s partner Bliss sang lyrics that we wrote together. Our friend Michael contributed his incredible harmonica.
Later, I carried the song to the jungles of Indonesia, and realised that my ode to flying was about birds as much as it was about paragliding.
The four of us are thrilled to share with you – The Sacred Art of Flying.
We hope this makes you soar.
