Lost Art

Overview

“Lost Art”
Some may say
That there’s no bad dogs
Or trees that fall and scream out loud
They turn to logs
That fill with rot
We say that they’re clean
And they say that they’re not
We seen fish swim
They flow inside inside flocks
While all of us still wait on docks
I looked to you
Said you matter more
Than all the mountains on the ocean floor

It ain’t much
But it’s a start
Yeah
It ain’t much
But it’s a lost art

Namaste and make the most
Bring your bottles and extra clothes
Save the thoughts everyone else knows
I’m full of ale from head to toe
So make our youth
Into a toast
It’s here today and tomorrow’s ghost
We laugh along and we laugh a lot
But it’s only funny until the truth gets caught

It ain’t much
But it’s a start
Yeah
It ain’t much
But it’s a lost art
Hey
It ain’t much
But it’s a start
Yeah
Since when is friendship a lost art?

Some may say
That there’s no bad dogs
Or trees that fall and scream out loud
They turn to logs
That fill with rot
We say that they’re clean
And they say that they’re not
We seen fish swim
They flow inside inside flocks
While all of us still wait on docks
I looked to you
Said you matter more
Than all the mountains on the ocean floor
